Matthias is originally from Bordeaux and holds the WSET Diploma. He began by training as a salesman specializing in the wine industry and worked for ten years in various family properties in the Bordeaux region as well as in the wine trade. His activity as an export salesman in Asia and Europe will allow him to rub shoulders with producers from all horizons and to considerably broaden the range of wines tasted. This openness fueled his “thirst” for discovery, which he quenched by following the different levels of the WSET as well as by traveling to many wine regions. He finally decided to share his passion and knowledge of world wines through the training he has been doing since 2018.
He is now an accredited trainer for Bordeaux Wines as well as for the WSET, which allows him to intervene in sommelier schools as well as at the Bordeaux Wine School for both professionals and individuals.
