Yes

WSET Level 1 qualification courses in wines or spirits are accessible without pre-requisites.

But

WSET Level 2 qualification in wines or spirits requires basic tasting skills and knowledge of these products. Level 1 is therefore strongly recommended but not compulsory to register.

The WSET Level 3 in wines qualification is accessible directly after the WSET Level 2 in wines or equivalent level. You can contact our team to check the equivalences.

The French Wine Scholar training requires a level of knowledge equivalent to the WSET Level 2 certification in wines. You can contact our team to check the equivalences.

Yes, our WSET Level 1 in Spirits or Level 1 in Wines courses are ideal for beginners professionals or amateurs.

The courses delivered at WiSP are not preparing for a specific job. They’re better defined as “product” courses. That is to say, they give a thorough knowledge and understanding of a product (wines or spirits) and its industry. All positions in the wine and spirits industry requires product knowledge and understanding and are potentially concerned by our certifications.

Our classrooms can accommodate up to 20 people depending on the venue used.

All of our courses are eligible for funding depending on your status at the time of application. You can find all the details of the funding available on this page.

All our courses offer the possibility of resiting the final examination in the event of failure. There is no maximum number of attempts. You want to know the dates of the next resit sessions, leave us a message here.

Our teaching team is made up of lecturer certified by the WSET or the Wine Scholar Guild. You can find the details directly here.

Yes, it is possible to postpone or cancel your course in certain cases and under certain conditions. All the conditions of participation are detailed on the registration form filled and signed upon registration. Make sure you read them carefully.

All of our certifying courses can be funded by the CPF, provided that your CPF account is sufficiently credited. To benefit from it, click on the course you’re interested in and then click on “I suscribe with Mon Compte Formation”. You will be automatically redirected to the chosen course page on the moncompteformation.gouv.fr website

For those courses requiring upstream preparation, books will be sent to your home within 72 hours following your registration.

No, you must commit to specific dates upon registration. The exam will take place during this specific session.

This session is certainly no longer available. Either the registration deadline has passed, or the session is full. However, please do not hesitate to come back to us if you wish to be placed on the waiting list.

VAT does not apply in the context of French Professional Training (Formation Professionnelle continue), that is to say for French “active” people (employed or seeking for a job). It means VAT applies by default to students (initial training), retirees and non-French residents.

Yes, all books are available for purchase. BUT NOTE THAT, if you sign up for training at WiSP, there will be no deduction made when you register as books are included in the course costs.
